Counselling

Booking Your Sessions
Making the decision to book in counselling for your child can feel scary. Especially if they have had counselling before and it hasn't gone well.
We understand how important it is that both you and your child feel comfortable.
What to expect
We book in a free 20 minute consultation with you first to make sure we are the right service for you and your child and will support you in finding the most appropriate services.
We send you over some electronic forms and then we meet online via our secure video platform so we can speak confidentially.
You'll meet with Ange, our founder and accredited counsellor, coach and trainer who works with neurodivergent young people and their families. She has 18 years' experience working in the field of mental health.
You'll have space to talk together about what is happening and what you think your child needs support with.
From there, she will then match you to one of our therapists.
They will then contact you and your child directly to arrange your sessions which we can provide online or in person in Bristol, Taunton or Cardiff.
Our team are LGBTQ+ allies and neurodivergent affirming due to living experience.
Fees are £80 per session. We offer two low-cost spaces per week for £25 per session.
Our Therapists

Kat Roberts
Blending both lived and professional experience of neurodivergence, I provide specialist autism and ADHD counselling, education and mentoring for adults and teens.
I am a qualified counsellor, with prior experience as an Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Teacher, an Autism Trainer at a charity (running wellbeing and independence courses for autistic adults), and a specialist disability tutor at a local, Welsh university. As a result, I have a breadth of experience working with different presentations of autism and neurodivergence across all ages and within various settings.
I am a pluralistic counsellor, meaning I work with the person in front of me and access a variety of therapeutic approaches that align with my clients and their individual differences. The approaches I use are adjusted and used with neurodivergent-affirming practice in mind.
I believe counselling should be a space where clients are offered different ways to express themselves, encouraged to be autonomous and independent, and supported to understand and care for themselves.
In my spare time I love to get involved with my community, taking part in choirs and bookclubs, walk in nature, read fantasy and non-fiction books and spend time with my two kittens (adult cats who are still my babies!) at home.
I am proud to be a queer and neurodivergent counsellor, and I am in community with trans, intersex and non-binary people. I am a trans-affirming counsellor, and welcome clients from these communities.

Hollie Warren-Turner
"I am a professional in the field of integrative counselling, mindfulness, and compassion practices, as well as a therapeutic yoga instructor.
Through my personal experiences of a challenging childhood and a journey to understand my own identity, I encountered struggles with anxiety, depression, and forming healthy relationships with others and myself.
My path led me to the practice of mindfulness, which proved to be a turning point in my life.
Experimenting with various meditation styles eventually led me to discover a technique that resonated with me, allowing me to cultivate self-compassion and rekindle love and acceptance for myself.
With a newfound appreciation for myself and my body, I embarked on a journey to address and heal the wounds of my childhood trauma and explore my true identity.
Several years down the road, I made the decision to channel my experiences into helping and empowering children, young adults, and women in fostering self-compassion and fostering a positive relationship with their own identities, minds, and bodies. "
Hollie offers counselling, mindfulness and yoga and runs therapeutic support groups for young people in Taunton.

Tor Zakaria (Fully Booked Until November)
I specialise in working with children, young people and their families and carers.
I offer 1:1 support for children and young people as well as sessions with the child and parent/carer. I work closely with the family to find the best therapeutic offer of support and I can then deliver this.
Over the past 20 years I have worked with children and adults in a range of settings. I was previously a teacher and SENCO in primary and secondary schools.
Since qualifying as a therapist 4 years ago, I have worked in schools, with adoption and fostering agencies and in private practice offering therapeutic support to children, young people and their families and carers.
I have an interest in attachment, developmental trauma and the importance of play and creativity in the healing of trauma and past experiences.
As well as my work with children and families, I also enjoy music and going to concerts, travelling, experiencing new cultures and reading. My favourite place to be is on a beach, watching and listening to the waves."
Tor offers Play Therapy and Parent and carer support in Bristol and online.
