Self-esteem is having confidence in your abilities and self-respect. When self-esteem is low it can impact on all areas of life including your relationships with others and make life feel more difficult. Negative thought processes can impact on mental health and make it hard to see a way of feeling differently.

In this experiential workshop we will explore how different situations can impact self-esteem and identify the different approaches that can help boost low self-esteem.

The workshop will include case studies, practical exercises and will show how different techniques can improve feelings of self worth.

By the end of the course you will be able to recognise how the pressures of day to day life can have an effect, develop coping strategies and begin to learn how to accept and value yourself.

The workshop includes:

  • Understanding self-esteem

  • Recognising low self-esteem

  • Building self-esteem

  • Coping strategies

  • Best practice guidelines

  • CPD certificate
